What are the eligibility requirements?
Participants should have a minimum of three years in instructional design, a strong grasp of instructional design principles, and experience applying design models. While prior completion of an ATD foundational certificate is preferred, it’s not mandatory.
How is the program structured?
The program spans eight weeks and includes both live online sessions (weeks 1, 3, 5, and 7) and self-directed learning activities. Participants complete a final project, which consists of four deliverables, as part of their practical learning experience.
What will I receive upon completing the program?
Graduates earn the ATD Master Instructional Designer® designation and a digital badge to share their achievement. Additionally, the final project can be added to your professional portfolio.
What tools and resources are provided?
Participants receive access to over 25 templates, job aids, and tools to assist in writing learning objectives, structuring content, and gathering feedback. Resources include the ATD Instructional Design Self-Assessment, curated articles, and a detailed project rubric.
Are there any elective options after completing the program?
