Simon is specializing in Training and Consulting in Fraud and Corruption Investigations, Fraud Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Internal Controls, Governance and Business Turnaround. He is a British qualified Accountant with an MBA from Oxford. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK and also has a Canadian CPA. Simon is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Prior to this he was Head of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance, leading an international team of over 30 professionals at a Bahrain Bank. He as previously Head/Director of Forensic Services for PwC in Vancouver, Canada and ex Head/Director of Forensic Services at Protiviti in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to this Simon has held positions of Head of Internal Audit, Risk Management and Forensic Services for two large Public Companies and has worked for the big 4 Accountancy firms including 6 years at Ernst & Young in South Africa and KPMG in the Caribbean Region. His experience crosses the spectrum of Forensic Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Compliance, Corporate Governance and more. His career for the last 25years has had a focus on Forensic Accounting and Fraud and Corruption Investigations. Simon has conducted Fraud and Corruption and related Accounting and Auditing training events and conference presentations in over 40 countries, transferring huge amounts of knowledge, experience and benchmarking and has been involved in training trainers and Accountants through the Accountancy bodies who accredit his training in terms of Continued Professional Development/Education Credits.
