About The Mentor
Scott is a subject matter expert with an extremely rare career that encapsulates a true “360 degree” perspective -- he has worked in both the public and the private sectors; he has represented buying organizations as well as selling organizations; and he has held staff-line positions as well as C-Suite titles. He is a practitioner of supreme international reputation and takes tremendous pride in the many value implementations that he has left behind. He is a member of the “5% Club,” and has a mission to help other 5% Club members. As an experienced Procurement and Contracts professional, Scott holds several professional certifications. The ones that he holds the dearest are the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), the Strategic Procurement Masters (SPM), and the Certification in Bid and Proposal Management (CF APMP). Scott has led many specific projects over his career that have yielded significant results. Examples of some of these projects include: • A negotiations protocol policy that has yielded hundreds of millions of dollars for a previous employer. • A successful contract win rate that is statistically twice the win rate of other certified professional averages. • A transformation journey (of many) that yielded a complete governance set creation, restructuring, and change management/training, that yielded significant measurable improvements in both efficiencies and economy. Scott is a former Chief Procurement Officer who also holds the distinction of being a former Budget Director for a billion-dollar organization. He has travelled the world consulting and training other supply chain persons in a variety of different fields. His expertise with supply management is vast, but he especially enjoys his reputation as a third-party negotiator (3PN) [“It’s just fun,” he has been known to say]. Having accomplished many successes, and learned failures along the way, Scott co-founded a consulting and training firm in 2010 based out of Atlanta, Georgia (USA). He wanted to share his knowledge with others and imbue his passion for those who seek to “stand out” in their field (5% Club!). This was a natural progression for an expert who developed a “results” reputation and became a sought-after professional. Over the years, the firm has opened two additional offices to include Mexico. He is excited about the firm’s growth and the many wonderful experts from other fields of endeavor who have become part of his professional family. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University (ask him about “the Rock!”) in Pennsylvania, and is an avid student of humanity, culture, and business.

Certified Professional in Quality and Patient Safety
We have been working with LEORON for the past two years and will be working with them again this upcoming year. The programs they delivered were fruitful and exciting and our organization has received positive feedback from the participants. What our organization aims to do is to provide at no cost training for all the private sector employees so that they may benefit from our offered programs in Innovation and Professional development. LEORON has helped us achieve this goal. We look forward to continuing this service and wish them the best of luck. Regards,
