Bashar is a supply chain/operations professional with over 25 years of hands on experience in the fields of supply chain and procurement. As a highly accomplished supply chain and procurement expert, Bashar has worked with major international companies to implement different projects, procedures and operations credited with improving corporate production processes and increasing corporate revenue. Bashar is equipped with excellent communication skills with in-depth knowledge of SCM, warehousing, production and purchasing processes and demonstrated success leading business and strategic development functions on an international scale. Some of his key career achievements include pioneering complete setup of stretch wrap purchases to production on the high-speed machines with better prices and higher quality, pioneering complete setup of the new compactors for the waste management in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam Plants. He also worked on the complete setup of the new specs of the sealing tapes and blank paper stickers, cost avoidance delivered from purchase / contract negotiations and productivity saving delivered from projects and initiatives. Before dedicating his career to train people and passing the knowledge and experience to other professionals, Bashar has held a number of senior positions in recognized companies such as: PepsiCo, Al Theyab Marketing Co. (Al Theyab Group), Saudi Contractors Supply Co. Ltd, Creative Beauty EST, Al Rayed, and others. As an established trainer Bashar initiated a new string of supply chain, warehousing and procurement courses including the new training under the title of “Procurement Awareness Sessions” for the stakeholders aligning the Internal Audit.
