About The Mentor

Prof. Akram is a PMI Certified Consultant for OPM3, PMP and PMI-RMP, with formal project, program, portfolio, organization management and governance experience. He has worked as advisor and director for many of government institutes MOD, MOI, MOMRA, MO-Hajj and private companies as ARAMCO. He has managed many of critical complex programs and projects especially with 2030 Vision. Akram has established EPMO (Portfolio $ 16Bn Opex & Capex). Also, he has led the recovery of troubled projects and programs for key when he worked as a Director of Development Plan of Security Projects, MOI (Budget $ 3Bn) . Akram’s most recent client engagements have focused on Enterprise PMO, Think Tank, Tec Lab and Business incubation. Akram is a Professor in Project management and instructor with several organizations, including PwC Academy, Projacs Academy and LEORON Professional Development Institute. Akram is also a Risk, Crises, Disaster and Resilience and Complex Program Management Expert. He developed and operated semi-Government companies by using Agile/Lean approach and BIM, UIM, OSSA and EPM tools to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Akram is also an International Arbitrator, associate in CIArb, UK. Akram has a Philosophy Doctorate in Engineering and Project Management as well as Master of Business Administration, from ABET University. He has trained and mentored over 20,000 pre/post graduate students and professionals across the globe. He is a member in The PMI® Sponsored Research Program (SRP) and Communities of Practices adviser to Middle region group. He is a Certified Privatization Expert CP3P and managed PPP projects worth more than $ 2.5Bn. Akram is a Reviewer of twelve of PMI standards including the 6th and 7th PMBOK Editions, Portfolio Project Management, Risk Management, OPM3 guide, Organizational Project Management, Project Management Competency Development, PMBOK guide Six Edition and Construction Extension of PMBOK guide, Break Work Structure guide, Schedule Management guide, Earned value management guide, Project Estimating guide as well as the Scrum Body of Knowledge (SBOK) Guide, 3rd Edition. Akram is a certified Change Management Professional. He brings a successful background in managing the change from strategy through implementation. His expertise include planning, implementation and operations management skills to transform vision and strategy into cost effective programs that leverage available technology. He is an active member in Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, International Institute of Business Analysis, SAVE, Construction Specifications Institute, U.S. Green Building Council, National BIM Standard for building smart alliance. What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.
Are LEORON Public courses certified by an official body/organization?

What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. Kindly note that occasionally we do accept late registrations as well, but this needs to be confirmed with the project manager of the training program or with our registration desk that can be reached at +1071 4 1075 5711 or register@leoron.com.
What does the course fee cover?
The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
