A supply chain specialist, well known for his high impact and interactive sessions in the classroom. He comes with over 18 years of practitioner experience in the area of Supply knowledge Chain Management, gaining extensive in warehousing, procurement, management, strategic inventory international negotiations and freight logistics. A full-time practitioner for most of his career, the exposure to several market sectors including and aviation, power healthcare, construction generation, all contributed to this part- time teaching knowledge , one that now spans over 15 years. Paul has played a key role in the development of the profession in Caribbean, both in and out of the classroom, where he worked closely with other experienced professionals in procurement and supply locally. This had led to the creation of a Trinidad and Tobago chapter of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), now called CIPS Americas. Paul held the position of Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Trinidad Branch and became an influential member of the Supply Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SMA). For the past 5 years he has been living in the UAE, assigned as a senior supply chain lecturer, training students throughout the Middle East region. He has also conducted onsite corporate training in Saudi Arabia and is the designated supply chain specialist at a UAE based university college. Paul has been teaching the CIPS programme since 2006 at various levels and continues to mentor both CIPS and other supply chain students through his social media platforms. These days his research and blogging interest is in disruptive technologies and supply chain omnichannels He holds an MSc in Procurement from the University of South Wales (UK) and is MCIPS qualified. Paul also completed his teaching qualification, attaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (HE) from the University of Greenwich (UK). He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in business administration with the Swiss Business School.
