A five-day course on  International Sustainability led to 31 kingdom delegates from the Royal Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jubail to obtain their certificates through LEORON Institute.  Delegates from the industrial city east of the capital on the coast of the Gulf of Arabia, were delivered the LEED course by LEORON expert trainer Elias Robles.

“It quickly became to be a very productive week for the development of Design and Sustainable construction in Saudi Arabia. At the end of the five-day course, it was concluded that one of the most important issues is knowing where to start a green project, making a regenerative conceptualization from the beginning, up to the project's operation”, said Robles.

LEORON course participants can now choose to take their LEED Green Associate accreditation exam and be part of an international force of professionals properly trained in the field of sustainable design and construction. Two days after completing the course, one of our students passed his exam with an outstanding grade of 192 out of 200.

“On October 6 we will be working with another group in the city of Yanbu, west of Saudi Arabia, in the headquarters of the Royal Commission as well, since they seek to unify efforts on both sides of the country to continue developing projects with a new way of doing things”, says LEORON expert trainer Elias Robles.

To maximize the results of the application of the strategies proposed by LEED, the scheme is based on propitiating the synergy between the diverse systems existing in a structure. This theory seeks to create closed cycles where the product of one process turns out to be the input of another. The proposal seeks to combine well-known strategies with modern technology to address the life cycle of a building. In addition, LEED provides metric tools that allow evaluating the most productive way to apply these strategies seeking their implementation from an integrated and iterative planning.
